YingHui Lee, a second year PhD student from Singapore had an interview with PrimeTime Asia, a major new bulletin of Channel News Asia, on 14 November 2017. She shared her thoughts on the highlights of the recently concluded 31st ASEAN Summit in Manila, focusing on the agreement between ASEAN and China to begin negotiations on the fine print of the Code of Conduct in the South China Sea. She highlighted the agreement as a step in the right direction towards enhancing mutual trust and understanding the region, but also expressed doubts on possibility of real progress towards an effective and comprehensive COC.
